2024: My year of His Kingdom and His will

Serving the Lord is something God’s children really need to take seriously, especially in these end times that availability of choices of options is posing threat to making the right and only wise decision.

There was a time Joshua, having been with God, decided that he and his household will serve the Lord and asked the rest of Israelites to make their choice of whom they will serve (Joshua 24:15).

The Bible tells us in Deuteronomy 10:12 that among other things that the Lord demanded from the children of Israel was to serve Him with all their heart and with all their soul. This indicates that if we are to serve God in His own way, there is no room for divided opinion or standing on the fence. Hence Jesus declares:

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”

Matthew 6:24

Serving the Lord entails amongst other things joyfulness and gladness of heart if our service is to be accepted (Deuteronomy 28:47).

Today, many proclaim to be serving God, yet other things occupy their heart and time. God wants those who serve Him to serve Him a lone (Luke 4:8) and not along with some other things.

Serving the Lord carries so many benefits that cannot be exhausted. Amongst them are prosperity and pleasure (Job 36:11), blessing of bread and water as well as removal of sickness (Exodus 23:25) and inheritance of eternal life (Matthew 9:29).

The month of November is

“OUR MONTH OF SERVICE”.

Joshua 24:15, Deuteronomy 10:12, 28:47, Matthew 6:24, 9: 29, Luke 4:8, Job 36:11, Exodus 23:25.

Hallelujah!

Prepare your heart to render genuine service to God in this month of November and beyond. May God supply us with the strength in Jesus name!
