Every genuine Christian should long for a purer heart with the Lord and seek for a heart that follows hard after Him. The reason is quite evident from the Bible (Leviticus 19:2, 20:7, 21:8, Exodus 19:6, 1 Peter 1:16, 1 Thessalonians 4:7).
Christians, no matter who we are, where we live or our social, financial, marital status in life, have been called to live holy and be blameless before God our creator. He wants us to desire His presence more than anything else to enable us to be like Him both in character and actions.
But to come into His presence requires holiness and purity because He is of purer eyes to behold evil and cannot look on iniquity (Habakkuk 1:13). Hence He instructed Moses to take off his sandals because he was standing on a holy ground (Exodus 3:5).
“OUR MONTH OF FAITH”.
Sanctification brings us to the state of holiness, therefore we need to go to Him, Jehovah Mekadesh, to sanctify us through His word (John 17:17) and wash us with the blood of His son, Jesus Christ (1 John 1:7). He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver. If we come to Him, He will purify us and purge us as gold and silver to offer unto Him an offering of righteousness and holiness (Malachi 3:3).
By the grace of God, the month of March is proclaimed
“OUR MONTH OF SANCTIFICATION AND HOLINESS.”

Let us be ready for Jehovah Mekadesh to work on us this month and beyond. The process might not be palatable but the result is fascinating and pleasing to God. By His grace we will be able to pass through His refining fire and take His soap of purification to come out refined.
