It is a crystal-clear fact that Christians became Christians by faith (Ephesians 2:8) and they are expected to live the life of Christian by faith (Romans 1:17). Invariably, the journey of Christianity is of faith. This is because our God is a God of faith (Hebrews 11:3, Romans 4:17) and pleasing Him requires faith (Hebrews 11:6). In fact, for whatsoever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23).
Brethren the catalog of folks who obtained good report through faith recorded in Hebrews chapter 11 received not the promise neither would they be made perfect without us (Hebrews 11:39-40). If they could exercise such magnitude of faith that called for recommendation, what level of faith would God expects from us that have received the promise and whose company is needed for the folks’ perfection?
No wonder God’s soul shall have no pleasure in whoever draws back among the just (Hebrews 10:38).
The month of February is proclaimed
Hallelujah!
Let us walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7) throughout the month of February and beyond.
