The bible says Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God… (1 John 3:1). This manner of love is what Ephesians 3:19 says surpasses knowledge and Romans 8:38-39 says nothing can separate us from it. Not death not life, not angels not demons, not the present not the future, not any powers, not height not depth, not anything else in all creation.
God demonstrated this kind of love for us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). This is to say that this love of God is unconditional, we did nothing to deserve it. In fact, we deserve hatred but God being who He is decided to lavish this unparalleled love on us.
Having received such, unconditional, unspeakable, undesirable, inseparable and knowledge surpassing love of God, we are commanded to show the same to God (Matthew 22:37) and our fellow brethren (John 13:35, Hebrews 13:1,) including the unbelievers because Jesus died also for them (Matthew 22:39).
In view of this, the month of December is declared
‘OUR MONTH OF LOVE.’

Glory to God!
Brethren let us put on love (Colossians 3:14) in this month of December and beyond. In doing so, we are showing that we know God (1 John 4:8), we are His children and His disciples (John 13:35).
