2018 is our Year of The Word of God

This year this month, God's word will be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path in Jesus name, Amen.

Remember that this is our year of THE WORD OF GOD. As we stand firmly on God's word, results shall be inevitable. It shall be unto us according to God's word in Jesus name, Amen.

Welcome to the Month of October, 2018

Today is the 1st Sunday of the Month of November. This month has been tagged "OUR MONTH OF "KNOWLEDGE".

 Bible passages:Proverbs 11:9b, 20:15 (AMPC), 24:4, Psalm 119:66, Hosea 4;6, John 8:32.

John 8:32 says " Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.".

 

Weekly Activities

  • Today is our thanksgiving service. We shall be having testimonies in the service. Remember to register with the ushers if you have a testimony
  • The families of Sis Zih Anazolie and Sis Tusima will be dedicating their babies on today. Let us rejoice with them at the due time.
  • This week, our weekly activities will be on hold as we shall be having PUSH. The theme of this Month's PUSH is "Freedom by the Truth".  Remember PUSH is Monday to Friday - 5th to 9th November, by 7pm. Friday the 9th is our communion service.
  • Gideon Men will be having a meeting today by 5pm at Bro Augustine Chinatu's home. Its going to be a brief meeting to finalise plans for the conference.
  • After the Service today, Victorious women should join hands with the Sanitation department to clean the church premises.
  • Prayers for pregnant women and expectant mothers holds every Sunday immediately after service. Please immediately after the Service, join Pastor Henry in the office.

  • RCCG Europe Mainland Region 3 Will be having Europe Prayer Summit.
    • Theme:  Let the Rivers Flow (John 7:38)
    • Date: Friday, 30th November 2018
    • Time: 19:00 - 23:00
    • Venue: Kortedala Forum, Kortedala Torg 1, 415 10, Göteborg, Sweden
    • Focus:  Interceeding for Europe; A night of Prayers, Praises and wonders.
    • Convener: Pastor David Sola Oludoyi
    • Admission is free
  • Gideon Men's annual Conference will be coming up on Saturday to Sunday the 24th & 25th of November, 2018. The theme is "Growing stronger, deeper & reaching higher". Guest speaker is Dr Abiodun Ogunyemi from Germany.
  • Workers' Get together will be held on Saturday the 1st of December, 2018. This is a special appreciation event for all workers.
    • Time is 5.30pm prompt
    • Dresscode: Dinner outing wear

    • There will be food, gifts and prophetic/declaration prayers.
    • Sis Laura, Bro Kenny and Sis Joy should see Pst Henry after today's service.
  • The Covenant Parish Christmas Carol will be held on Saturday the 8th of December, 2018. More details will be announced later.
  • The Children's Christmas service will be held on Sunday the 9th of December, 2018. Theme for this program is "My child, my future".
  • The second instalment of the annual joint meeting of the Gideon Men and Victorious Women will be held on the 9th of December, 2018. More details to be announced later.

General Notifications

  • We can begin to redeem our family pledges made in May during our Anniversary/Family Thanksgiving service. We can do so till the end of this year. Please pay to Sis Adebukola Owolabi.
  • Please remember to pay for your Sunday School Manual. It is 7 euros per copy. You can pay to Sis Divyne or to any Sunday school teacher.
  • The Ministers’  Prayer meeting holds every Sunday morning by 10:30 am. Please, all Ministers should take note and endeavour to be on time.
  • Workers' meeting holds every Sunday morning by 11:00 am. Please, all workers take note and endeavour to be on time.
  • Let us all learn to be our brother's and sister's keeper. When you notice someone is missing from Church, please call, message and or visit them. God bless you as you do so in Jesus name.
