Weekly News | 2nd – 8th December, 2018

This year this month, God's word will be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path in Jesus name, Amen.

Remember that this is our year of THE WORD OF GOD. As we stand firmly on God's word, results shall be inevitable. It shall be unto us according to God's word in Jesus name, Amen.

Today is the 1st Sunday of the Month of December. This month has been tagged "OUR MONTH OF "REJOICING IN THE LORD".

• There shall be opportunity to give testimonies in the service today. Please remember to register with the Ushers if you want to share a testimony.
• This week, our weekly activities will continue with our Study of Acts chapter 28 on Tuesday, 7pm and Prayer meeting on Thursday by 7pm. Please be there.
• After the Service today, Victorious women should join hands with the Sanitation department to clean the church premises.
• Yesterday was our workers' get together and it was extremely nice. We use this opportunity to once again appreciate all workers in the church, and thank the organisers for hosting such a beautiful event.
• Prayers for pregnant women and expectant mothers holds every Sunday immediately after service. Please immediately after the Service, join Pastor Henry in the office.

• The Covenant Parish Christmas Carol will be held on Saturday the 8th of December, 2018. The theme is "All hail the King of kings". The program will feature several choirs, like the Hosanna Chapel Choir, Furahakören, Covenant Voice, and a host of others. Flyers are already available in soft copy.
• The Children's Christmas service will be held on Sunday the 9th of December, 2018. Theme for this program is "My child, my future". The colour for our children programme is as follows:
  - Boys - red shirt and black Jean
  - Girls — Red with a touch of green.
  • Santa Clause will be coming to church!
• The second instalment of the annual joint meeting of the Gideon Men and Victorious Women will be held on the 16th of December, 2018. More details to be announced later.
• This Month's edition of expository teaching will hold from 10th to 14th by 7pm each day. Venue as always is the church hall.

• Sis Anna is dedicating her child unto the Lord today. Let us join her in giving thanks unto God.
• We can begin to redeem our family pledges made in May during our Anniversary/Family Thanksgiving service. We can do so till the end of this year. Please pay to Sis Adebukola Owolabi.
• Please remember to pay for your Sunday School Manual. It is 7 euros per copy. You can pay to Sis Divyne or to any Sunday school teacher.
• The Ministers’  Prayer meeting holds every Sunday morning by 10:30 am. Please, all Ministers should take note and endeavour to be on time.
• Workers' meeting holds every Sunday morning by 11:00 am. Please, all workers take note and endeavour to be on time.
• Let us all learn to be our brother's and sister's keeper. When you notice someone is missing from Church, please call, message and or visit them. God bless you as you do so in Jesus name.
• We have an extra parking space in Kallionkujan päiväkoti please? The address for the päiväkoti is Lansankallionkuja 1. When driving from Kilo towards church, it is the junction immediately before the church junction. When driving from Nihtisilta it is the turning to left immediately after church junction.
