If it is true that every Christian became a Christian by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8), it therefore means that no Christianity without faith. No wonder the Bible says in Romans 12:3 that God has given to everyone certain measure of faith.
We became Christians through faith, received the Holy Spirit by faith and we are to live by faith (Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38), please God by faith (Hebrews 11:6), inherit the promise by faith (Hebrews 12:6), move the mountain by faith (Matthew 17:20) and overcome by faith (1 John 5:4).
Even though God has given to every one of us the measure of faith, we are expected to grow our faith by the word of God (Romans 10:17) and put our faith to work (James 2:14-17). Hebrews chapter 11 is replete with men and women of old who put their faith to work and obtain results. Let us be imitators of these men and women of faith.
The month of September is declared as
“OUR MONTH OF FAITH”.
And by faith we shall all move from glory to glory in Jesus mighty name. Hallelujah!
