2024: My year of His Kingdom and His will
March 2020

In the book of Psalm 69:9, “David declared: For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.”  In John 2:15-16, Jesus manifested the zeal for the house of God and this prompted a remembrance in the hearts of His disciples (And his disciples remembered that it was written, the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up, John 2:17).

Jesus had an extraordinary concern for the house of His father; He had intense care about how His father’s house should be. He was intensely soliciting for how pure the worship in His father’s house should be. This zeal ate him up, absorbed Him, engaged His entire attention and affection to the extent that it surpassed every other feeling in His life.

Since Jesus is our example as the Bible commands us to look unto Him as the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), we are also supposed to be passionate and zealous of the things of God. Hence, Romans 12:11 (NIV) says:

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

The month of March is declared

“OUR MONTH OF ZEALOUSNESS”.

Hallelujah!

Brethren there is no sacrifice too big to make, no price is too high to pay, no valley is too low to cross, no ocean is too deep to go through for our God. Let us be consumed by the zeal of our father’s house and kingdom. Let us be totally sold out for the Lord in this month of March and beyond. His grace is always sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9).
