The Christians are empowered to lead the life of victory on daily basis (2 Corinthians 2:14). No Christian is expected to be disadvantaged in life, no matter the surrounding circumstances. The reason is that the greater one lives in us and has made us to overcome (1 John 4:4). The Bible says in 1 John 5:4-5 NIV:
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Faith in His blood gave us forgiveness of sins; and faith in His resurrection gave us salvation. These in turn, brought us into God’s presence and if God be for us no one can be against us successfully (Romans 8:31).
In fact, the Bible calls us “more than conqueror" (Romans 8:37). God gives us victory over sin, sickness, Satan and self through our Lord Jesus Christ.
When we face challenges let us remember that VICTORY is already given.
Because of this, this month is declared as OUR MONTH OF VICTORY. Let somebody shout hallelujah.
