The news of the great joy that the birth of Jesus Christ brought is for all mankind (Luke 2:10). However, those who will experience the great joy are those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal saviour. Matthew 1:21 says “He came to save His people from their sins”; therefore those who have not yet accepted Him into their lives are still dwelling in their sins. Hence, the great joy of His birth is not yet fulfilled in their lives.
But for those of us that are saved, the great joy accompanying His birth is already fulfilled in our lives. It makes us to experience the joy of His salvation and makes us strong even in the midst of opposition.
In this month of December, let’s walk in this great joy as we celebrate His birth in love and in fellowship with Him.
December is declared “OUR MONTH OF GREAT JOY”. Glory be to God in the highest for the birth of His son, Jesus.
Do not allow anything to rob you of this gift of great joy. Maximise it and take advantage of it to stay afloat even in the turbulent waters of life for the great joy provider has overcome the world for us. Hallelujah!
