There is no doubt about the fact that glory brings joy. In 1 Peter 1:11 (AMPC), the Bible says: They sought [to find out] to whom or when this was to come which the Spirit of Christ working within them was indicating when He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow [them].
The old prophets searched and inquired earnestly about when this would be. Now it is fulfilled in our time. Christ has come, died and risen. The sufferings are gone but the glories live on for the believers. No wonder the Bible calls it ‘the Joy of your salvation’ (Psalm 51:12 NIV).
We are no longer like the people who grope in darkness hoping for light to come to them one day. We now live in the present-day reality of living in the glory of Christ’s resurrection. He’s raised to life for our justification (Romans 4:25b). In fact, He lives in our heart by faith (2 Corinthians 13:5, Colossians 1:27).
The glory of His resurrection has brought us JOY unspeakable. Let’s express the joy as we sail through this month of April and beyond. Do not forget that the life a man lives is in his heart. We will rejoice in the Lord for our JOY has come.
This is ‘OUR MONTH OF JOY’ by the grace of God. Hallelujah, glory to God!
