Man has always needed divine help to prevail against forces of darkness in whichever form they manifest (Zechariah 4:6). Even in pleasing God By doing his will, man’s dependent on God for help can never be overemphasized, hence 2 Corinthians 3:5 Says:
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.This is also corroborated by: John 15:5c, for without me ye can do nothing, Philippians 2:13, For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
God has wrapped up the success for 2018 in His word. But for us to have access to the success and harvest them, we need His help because “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Therefore, throughout this month and beyond, let’s lift our eyes unto the hills from where comes our help.
